I have been wonderimg for a while where one of my old ponies could be & thought I would ask if anybody knows of her whereabouts.
She is a bright bay 11hh (approx never had a stick on her) Dartmoor. Thin white blaze with a white snip on her nose. She had a hot diamond branding on her back under where the saddle sits & half penny scoops out of both ears. She was sold approx 6years ago (could be more) to a lady in the Leicestershire area. I am sure she went to a yard near Fosse Park, I think the lady was called Hayley & she bought Melly for her daughter who was called Kaitlin I think. Her mobile number didn't work when I tried it.
She was sold with a blue synthetic bridle & felt pad saddle, she had only been lightly mouthed & backed, lunged very nicely to voice command. But she would have any child on her back no problem. She had started popping little jumps on the lunge.
She hated any form of whips & wasn't that keen on men. Could be nervous around new people. Hated having her ears touched understandably seen as someone had taken a chunk of them out! She was about 9ish when we sold her we think so she could easily be in mid to late teens. She had had a foal previous to us getting her. Any news please.
