When we were over in Roscommon last month he had a beautiful grey mare for sale and I'd be really interested to find out what else he has for sale.

Also, my friend has just lost his horse in a tragic accident and his wife and I are going to help him start to look for a new hunter.

What sort of horse is he looking for?

he's looking for something probably between his old girl and the one he's just lost... so probably a nice ID type, 17hh + weight carrier. has to jump and cross all country.

I visited his yard last year when we went over there to hunt and i can honestly say i've never seen a more professional looking set up. He was highly rated by the Master we stayed with and if i hadn't been offered a new horse on loan i would have been purchasing from him!

who were you staying with? was it Oliver at Flowerhill?

we were hunting with Oliver on his hirelings and the lovely grey that my friend nearly bought Oliver has been to look at, and to my mind that's as good a recommendation as I could find, but wanted to know few more opinions!
