I opted for NL over Veterinary as this relates to her behaviour

Our vet came out to Jazz as we suspected she may have arthritis or ringbone or something! She has the all clear on ringbone and he advised we use work as a diagnostic tool and left some Danilon to use if she was sore and help her to work through it. She had 2 sachets over 2 days and we rode out yesterday, OMG

Loony mare! Spooked, napped, span etc etc at everything even shadows. Is this a normal reaction to Danilon? It certainly isn't normal behaviour for Jazz

On the plus side she was understandably not sore

She's only had the old 'bute' once before and didn't change behaviourly (?Sp) .
I understand the 'bute' effect only happens when it reaches the digestive tract with Danilon , any other differences?
Thanks

Chex has been fine on it, but then I was searching the internet for info on it before I found a few poeple saying it had made their horses a bit loopy!

I guess it's an individual thing, trust me to have Mrs Safe Hack turn into a raving loony ! I feel better knowing she's not the only one though, sorry if that sounds selfish. I gave her half a sachet last night to 'wean' her off and she er hum had today off to collect herself as she cold turkeys , aw bless her

I use Danilon rather than bute as my beasties won't eat bute!! Ha
Never found them to go loopy though... but my arthritic mare responds better to Danilon than bute

Hey! Mine didnt show any behaviour change on Danilon. But he also doesnt fizz up when I feed him 3 scoops of comp mix a day!

Could only be a side effect for some?
