We have just bought a ML270 (NO bad stories please, its too late!)

Chosen for many reasons It will do a bit of towing but mainly be a family car. I have a few questions! This particular one has a hideous silver bull bar type spare wheel holder on the back which I hate, its been added as an extra so removeable but what do you do re. carrying your spare?
What do they cost to tax?
And importantly how do they cope with snow?

Tax was about £250 but I think it depends on what year it is.

I drove ours in the snow and it coped fine despite the fact we have stupid fat wideboy tyres on it

OH says those spare wheel holders go for good money on ebay. Apparently our spare is underneath, but it's a space saver one so hope I never have to find out. I don't think a full size ones fits underneath which is why yours has that holder.

We like ours. Fuel efficiency is not bad and it tows my trailer with two horses on board with no issues :)

Hi, not sure about the spare wheel question - hubby takes care of all that technical stuff"

Tax - mine is about £500 per year!
Fuel consumption is about 22 to the gallon in town. Bit better on a long run, but not much better. I don't mind, as I like the car so much!

Brill in snow.

You'll love the car, I'm sure. Fab cars.

Ah excellent! I'd rather a space saver than that hideous thing tbh but I guess I may not feel that way if I was stuck with a flat in the rain on the side of a road!
I'm really glad I've got a good reply!
It's a hard wrench to sell my lovely car for a big bus and am a bit worried being used to a little nippy car but its so impractical and I hate having to rely on my o/h to take my daughter places. It's also not fair on her as all comps are in the summer when as a farmer he's too busy to take time off.
Thanks Julesrules 😃
