OH just looked at this and said, 'keep it !'. He did say however, that as a concept, it could be worth quite a bit of money, if marketed and used to sell more copies.
Now I've seen the pics, I say definatly keep it, its lovely, I would have killed for something like that when I was younger ! and you would really regret selling it on esp as if someone buys it pretty cheap and has no sentimental attachment to it, it will more than likely get wrecked....its too nice for thathowever if you do go into taking orders for your grandad to make, please put me on the list, (may need to have it made in a slightly stronger wood though
). I spent weeks last christmas trying to find authentic but sturdy stables for my daughter, ended up with these horrible plastic flimsy stables that came as part of a farm yard set that fell apart in less than a week
, wasn't cheap either.
