They are amazing family dogs the most laid back boy ever. Romeos mum ive been told is mostly lab x staff and his dad is full rottie, i really wonder how he will turn out! Romeo loves sticks more than anything in the world and can spend hours stripping them.
Aw, Chester loves sticks but just to carry, hes always though since 9 weeks carried stones around with him ... not quite sure why? And an annoying habit of chasing the tyre of peoples wheelbarrows
watch out for those stones, my friends rottie had to have major surgery to remove the ones he's swallowed even tho he always looked as if he was carrying them.....:-(
I like Rotties very much and friend has 3 or 4 rescue ones.
But I have to admit my heart belongs to their string racehorse version, the Doberman ))
Yes, we do keep a very watchful eye and I should have said bricks rather than stones ... they're usually too big for him to swallow and we end up finding them all over the house but Im sure little bits break off - the poor thing!
We have had Elsie since the end of December and wouldn't be without her now. She can still be a bit deaf when she sees another dog and wants to run off and play, but she is getting better I have seen the horror on other dog owners faces when their dog runs towards Elsie and she runs towards theirs........ Luckily she hasn't eaten any yet
Playtime:
First time rock climbing with us. She was a star, lots of people around, never batted an eyelid and never moved:
