Any news on Sarnita and SJ?

A little line on them on Eventing World Wide, mentioning the fall

Anyone heard how they both are?

vet was seeing sarnie this morning I think, last update was bright but still not eating. If you are on facebook search "shoestring eventing" as she is posting regular updates on there

Sarnie on a drip to rehydrate, bloods taken and being tested, still bright but refusing to eat Vet coming back shortly with bloods results and to examine mouth carefully to see if they can discover why she won't eat.

Shoestring Eventing
Good news and bad news. She has just eaten a little hay but vet has identified an internal bleed, there is some blood around the lungs (not on lungs). However if serious we would have more accute symptoms so it may well just be a watching brief and keeping the drip up. It may be she has cracked a rib which has caused this but as 4 days after event hopefully not dire.

Sarnie has eaten a little over night and is now in the fielding GRAZING. Amazing how something so normally mundane can make me very happy. Vet due again at lunchtime to check bloods which will tell us how the internal bleed is, sure we are over the worst. Need to say a big thank you to Spike at Lamborne Veterinary Practice and Graham at Rosevean Veterinary Practice who have been fantastic.
