My friend is looking for a nice DIY/PART livery yard near within 13 mile radius of solihull. I am at Netherwood livery in Chadwick end but we are full to the rafters so cannot accomodate her.

She is looking for good hacking, school, good turnout, friendly. Likes DIY but part livery also considered.

Ideal locations are Tanworth in Arden. Lapworth, Lowsonford etc

Thanks guys :)

would they consider full livery at the right price? Hazel Farm in Bickenhill is lovely £55 to £65 a week depending on feeding and size. All year round turnout, ad lib hay, beautiful large indoor stables. Owners on site 24/7. pm me if you want to phone them, perhaps have a look and see if they fancy it.

I'd recommend Chessetts Wood Farm in Lapworth. We moved from Solihull to Bristol about 10 years ago and I assume the yard is still going! Good hacking, friendly, arena, DIY and part livery, owners on site, and you can hack to Solihull RC, which has great facilities and plenty of competitions. It may also be close to Swallowfield, which I think has BE and BD comps...? I'm afraid I don't have the number any more, but it's on Chessetts Wood Road - maybe the RC or Horsesense tack shop (based at Solihull RC) would have a number for you. Good luck!

Swallowfield in Lapworth is nice. No idea if they do DIY (probably not) but it's a very smart place with lovely facilities - indoor and outdoor schools and a XC course. The owner Jo Swain is a BD trainer. They do aff and unaff D, SJ and ODEs.

Yes it is still going - I was there for four years and left about 7 yrs ago and was only speaking to the YO last week! Nice yard. Solihull is a doddle from there. So is Swallowfield, which is only about a mile away. I have the number should anyone want it.

Hello,

I'm looking for a DIY livery yard in/around this area and was wondering where people would recommend? Ideally with outdoor stables and a school (flood lit if outdoor would be fab!) but will consider anything if it's in the right area/price!

Thanks for your help guys xx
