Right this is a long shot but im looking on behalf of a friend and having looking at a fair few horses recently and have two fail the vet I think we have an idea of what she wants but just can find it!!..there must be someone that has the horse we are looking for ? Wish list is 14.2=15.2 max really as friend is petite and rides her daughters 12.2 show pony so doesnt need anything huge. Age 6-8 ideally and working at a decent level schooling, pref Ele but with scope to progress. Mare or gelding. Must be good in all the usual things like loading, catching, clipping etc and most importantly must move off the leg and not be a lazy horse. budget of around 8 but happy to consider less for more schooling or bit more for right horse. Southern England catchment as friend is blind and reliant on others for transport to view horses but please dont let this put you off her riding ability is very good. I can't suggest anyone in your area, but if you are willing to travel a bit further:

My trainer specialised in small dressage horses. She imports youngsters from Germany with good pedigrees, works with them for a couple of years and sells them on to children and small adults. She only produces a couple a year to give them her full attention and they are all super (she is a Bereiter and Meister so she brings them on slowly and correctly). Her name is Anna Brown, you can find her on the BD trainer's database. She is based in Shropshire.

Alternatively (but further away in Yorkshire) try High Wood Dressage. Prices are a bit steeper but you never know in this climate. http://highwood-dressage.co.uk/sales.htm
They always seem to have small, really well behaved dressage horses.
