Hi everyone, I'm starting at the Uni of East Anglia in mid september, after months of thought I've decided to bring my horse up with me. I can afford to put him on part or full livery depending on my workload, so I'm looking for a yard that will give me peace of mind in that I know my horses is being cared for. I am totally unfamiliar with this area, can anyone recommend me some livery yards, or tell me which yards to avoid within a 25 min drive from the uni? My main requirements are all year turnout, an allweather school of a decent size and decent hacking, although the more facilities the better! I've heard some yards in the area have strangles which is also a big concern, although I didn't catch any names.

Also can anyone recommend a farrier and vet for me? And it would be great to know where the best tackshops/horse feed shops are, Thanks!

I went riding at Strumpshaw Riding Centre. Its fantastic, one of the best riding instructors I have ever had (Wendy Murray) and the horses are fantastically looked after. They all have a 2 week holiday in the summer.

There is also Rectory Road Riding School near North Walsham, great instructor there too.

There is also a livery yard/school out on the North Walsham to Norwich Road, I think its called Red hill or hall.
