If so

Was it ok for your horse to wear boots/bandages?
It says normal BD tack on the form but no mention of boots/bandages.

Did you wear competition clothes or just smart riding clothes, I'd prefer to do the latter?

How utterly terrifying was it and what did you have to do?

If you import and older horse it automatically get whacked with a lot of BD points, if it's not at that level of training you can apply and pay to take it to your local BD assesor who will asses the horse and tell BD how many points it should actually have.
New imported trekking pony got whacked with 350 points as he's 8 years old. Bit steep when he can't canter a 20meter circle yet

Well can be of any help on the subject tho although would have thought would just be smart riding clothes

I wore smart riding clothes, boots on horse with dressage saddle and snaffle. It was quite casual really, my horse is 6yrs old but with low mileage so didnt want to be stacked with 110 points! Good luck to you!

Thats the point I was trying to remember Bananaman shhhh dont tell booked for Friday afternoon, slight disaster as shortly after booking it saddle slumped , gone away to be sorted out today and I pick it up friday morning, eeekk not the best prep.

The going to well bit really is not a problem . it's the showing me up bit thats very likely to happen.

I feel another fall heading my way

Or at least a riding school pony nap across the arena.

I am sure you will be fine! I also took this route as I didnt want to compete in the Open section ( the rules say "must compete in the open section up to and INCLUDING the level from which downgraded") eek. I just had to walk trot and canter on both reins, show a bit of lengthening and a bit of counter canter which collapsed in a heap! Have a good time on Friday x

Yay all done and all went well. Got given 20 points and Paul was very nice we didn't get shouted at all though it was mentioned that I looked terrifyed!

Atty was green as grass but behaved well and we were a bit without breaks for a while but managed walk trot and canter on both reins and he did settled near the end and show a few strides of nice trot but just a few.

His first time out under saddle, first time in an indoor school and first time working with other horses and all though on his toes and some what dead in the mouth (turn why turn that horse isn't turning , I'm a trekking pony I follow the others) we did ok.
