Following all the rain, there appears to be a very new, and very bright green, growth in our field. My normally laid back boy is now very much on his toes, I'm putting this down to the new grass.....anyone else feeling the effects?

Yes and he weight has suddenly piled on! I've cut back to feeding a handful of oat straw with added bits and mins. She's so spooky and sharp.

I have four on very fresh grass, inc two young mares and not the slightest bit of difference! Find it quite strange how everyone on here blames problems on the grass, haven't known a single horse change due to fresh grass.

Where did I mention the word 'problem?? He's no problem, he's just feeling good......it was just an attempt to start a light hearted conversation!!!!

Yep, my bf's mare has gone from fairly mental to completely and utterly crackers.. threats have been made to her regarding her poor behaviour of late..

I never meant that you said your horse was a problem! Just saying a lot of people on here blame problems they have with their horses on the grass. Sorry!

Mine is absolutely lovely. He has filled out a bit (to perfect weight for him) and is very shiny with summer coat and just wants to prance around everywhere. We have had to go for a lot of long hacks with uphill gallops to get rid of his demons!
