Any one else just passing time at work till xmas holidays?

I am sooo bored at work - finish up tonight and can't wait to spend the time doing horsey things! Just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat.

Only one more day to go! Can't believe someone has scheduled a meeting with me tomorrow, how very dare they!! lol

We have been told that we only need to go in for 5 hourse though and can claim a full day

I'm working up until 8pm xmas eve then back to work 27th 8.30am,what joy working at a vets! I'm so fed up of work now just want xmas day to come,mainly to see my little boys face when he opens his pressies,ahhhh. Oh and then i can open my gifts from my OH,can't wait! Looking forward to Olympia friday though,spend,spend ,spend!

Busting a gut to get accounts, paperwork done, put away 6 pallets of horse feed, do four times the amount of deliveries as usual, and I have to do a physcial stock check on 31 December - the joys of being self employed!

When I was very young and dreamt of owning a tack shop (we have a feed store with most things except saddles) I never thought of VAT returns, tax, etc etc...!

Oh yeah, time off, well we finish at 1pm on Christmas Eve and are back to work 9am 27th December.

A lot of people are going for a drink lunchtime and planning to stay out. I'm not as I have to get ready for hunting Saturday (plus do my food shopping when I get back from the yard) so I'm hoping to sneak off when other poeple have gone down the pub.

Im a Telecomms Analyst for a financial services company and our lines are open 24/7/365

If anything breaks from a desktop phone to an International Toll Free number to Voice Recording I'm on call for it - not at work itself after about 2pm Xmas Eve but I'm then on call 24/7 until 8am on 28th Dec.

Spent all of Boxing Day night at work the other year after the Tsunami as we used to do Holiday Health and Travel Insurance and the staff/doctors were inundated with calls from people stranded or needing urgent hospitalisation

I have been so bored at work every day this week, except tuesday when I was at Olympia not work

I think all I've done is fill in forms, take numerous coffee breaks and play about on the internet all week! Finish at 3 today then no work til 7th Jan, so lots of time with Flash
