hi , yes i had my mare on it for awhile when she came back from the vets. she has loads of different leg problems front and back.
we used it for about 6-8 months while we got her well again and back into work. it did seem to help her and she was able to return to work. i also have an elderly gelding but only bute helps him now so whilst i would say give it a try it cant do miracles.
by the way it didnt make her fizzy or anthing.
Thanks she could do with fizzing up so that wouldnt have been a problem if it did. She is on a joint supplement and has been on cortaflex but a friend says that it is better so thought i would ask the question.
She is only stiff for about 10 mins when she first comes out of the stable and that is only if she doesnt have any turnout (like at the moment) so I dont quite need a miracle yet. Thank God.
My welsh is on it for her arthritis and ringbone. It took a little while to see a difference but she isn't as stiff as she was and seems very comfortable even now that I have taken her off bute.
With regards to not needing the miracle yet I'ma real believer in providing jooint support as early as possible hence why my 10yr old tb with no joint or conformation problems is also on it. If it gives her an extra few months of comfort when she is old then it's worth it to me.
