Hi

I have a lovely grey boy age 5 r 6 who I would like to affiliate this year but cant seem to come up with a special name!!!

he is by Grange Bouncer

out of Killag Ladie

breeder was Thomas Cullen co Wexford.

Thanks
xx

You need to upload them to photobucket - that's how I have had to do it. Fiddly, but worth it once you get the hang of it. I've just put a pic on of my lad (on the freeze marking thread) and it took a few minutes even now to get it to work. :D

Bouncing Laddie /Bouncey Lad ...something along those lines (appropriate for a showjumper) or Grange meaning Farm so something along those lines eg. Farmer Tom(ref. breeder)

To affiliate do they have to use the name on their passport?

He will need to be named to compete affiliated, the owner will need to send in a choice of 4, I think, so that names will be original if possible although they will sometimes get a roman numeral.

The breeding is not that inspiring name wise, Grange Bouncers are usually great jumpers.

Wexford Bouncer, if you want to use the link to sire and place of birth.
Simply Bouncer, taken from amymay
Just Bouncer
Brilliant Bouncer
Bouncing High
Best Bouncer
Bright Bouncer
Silver Bouncer

A few to get you started, when my ISH was named we got the 2nd choice so do not expect to automatically get the one you really want, make sure the others are acceptable.

Ted
Bouncing Bear
Bear bouncer

Or you could play on bare/bear

Imagine "here is X riding her own Bare bouncer" LOL

Barely there/bearly there
Bear Kill
Agglinton bear
Killag grange
:)

Dont be afraid to change how you spell the name, Billy's show name is traditionally spelt with an e but i changed it to i so we would be the only ones with it and still sounds the same :)

A handsome horse like that needs a strong name. Do you need to include the sires name, he is very well known and very successful but he also deceased. If you look a little further back in the pedigree you have Prospect Pride, Pride of Shaunlara, and Milestone. There are no breeding prospects for your gelding so no off spring to name after him.

What a Prospect.
Bounce Along.

How about using 'Argentum' to reflect his silvery dappled look as in
Teddy Argentum or
Killag Argentum or
Cullens Argentum
