Any one use riaflex or synequin?

My warmblood just had a course of hyonate but after coming off the bute is lame again, hes also on synequin, but the insurance wont now cover it and at £152 its expensive

hes only on the loading dose however, can anyone tell me how long it took them to see an improvement?


Also i found something called riaflex that is actually contains higher doses of CS and glucosamine, and is a lot cheaper anyone use it?

No, but I've used Cosequin on my mare and works really well. I have her with a top vet practice and they told me to use it. Check it out - you can get it cheaper on ebay!

Synequin - yes. Mare I look after was on it and it worked wonders for her. Its made up of pure products and less fillers. She has arthritis in both hocks, had a course of Adequan and was on the Synequin. She got it through her vets and it formed part of her insurance claim. Once you get past the loading dose it lasts for ages.

hi we use cosequine, makes a massive diffrence and u can get 3 types of it depending on work load. I get the big tub whick is 1400gram which lasts for ages and it costs 115.00 from amazon and it lasts for 6 months

We used Riaflex (can't remember the name of the one we used, it was the top specification one, I know they do several) and tbh didn't see any improvement at all. Used it for about 7 months so plenty of time for it to have worked. However other people have used it and swear by it.

well ive just changed to riaflex as its cheaper, im told its the amounts you need to feed and make sure its pure ingredients.

Synequin is so expensive but if he goes downhill again Ill change back , thanks all
