what is farrier formula ...? i no it is for hooves, but what does it do...? and does any one use it ...also price....? < i hear it a bit exspensive

My friend has a tb with aweful feet and he is on it and it has worked wonders. He no longer has cracks and his feet hardly ever chip off!! Yes it is rather expensie but not sure how much?

I think its about £23 for a 5kg tub or something like that, so its not too bad when you compare it to others. We were going to try it but instead were recomemended Hoof and Health from Hilton Herbs which is £9 for a bag! (although bag is smaller). If it doesnt work I think we will try Farriers Formula, as it sounds really good. Will let you know

I just wondered does it help horse keep shoes ... my ned is loosing them at 3-4 weeks and my farrier is brill ....?

Farriers Formula has been used with brilliant results on friends horses, they pay around £79 for a 20kg sack

Depends why he is losing his shoes, if they are brittle and breaking then yes it will help but it takes a while to work, cos you got to wait for new hoof to grow down

I used to keep my tb with cracked hooves on it and it was good but got too expensive so now I use naf's biotin and it works just as well and for 1/4 of the price!
Takes a few shoeings before you see any difference though so be patient!
