History of 'horse dancing' as well as jousting etc
Quite interesting got admire her having a go! Lovely Andalusian stallions

I think she is totally watchable, admire her courage and also love the history behind it all. I have a marvellous book written by Cavendish, bought from.bolsover castle!

Saw it when it was first on and did enjoy it, even if I was a tad disappointed at the lack of technical detail (don't know what I was expecting, really, given she's not that horsey, but there's so little horsey stuff on the telly that I rather got my hopes up).

The history side of things was very cool though, and her trying out bits of haute ecole as a non-rider was quite brave - she did rather well, really, all things considered.

It's fab. We live near Bolsover and my wife works there. Planning a visit.

Its a great place to go. The riding hall is TINY, so their horses must have been incredibly collected. When I was there last year there was a spectacular thunderstorm, directly overhead and the lightning set all the house and car alarms in Bolsover off.

She's one of my favourite history presenters and tbh I think she did a great job in that programme which was never going to be pitched for people who know about horses .

I've just returned from a trip to Yorkshire to meet Ben and some of his stunning horses. (I even chose my H&H username after the horse Lucy rode in this program :D)
The bond he had with them was amazing.

Even though I'm still quite new to all this horsey stuff I still took away lots from the day, especially with regards to handling and the mind-set of a horse.
He's a very modest guy too given his talents and was pleased to answer questions and give advice.

Few photos and a link to a video below.
