Any opinions on the Ariat Grasmere boots?

I would really like to purchase a pair of the Ariat Grasmere boots but unfortunately, these dont seem to be available in the States. I have tried on other pairs of Ariat boots (both field boots and paddock boots) and seem to run in a size 6. I have heard the Grasmeres run a bit looser? PLEASE help as I will need to order these from the UK without trying them on first.
Thank you so much for you help.

Are the Grasmere the ones with laces up the side? If so, they aren't looser to start with but they do loosen up after wearing for a while. They are extremely comfy and I love mine.

Yes, the Grasmere does lace on the sides. I'm glad to hear they are comfortable

Gucci_B, do other Ariat boots come up to long on your leg as well?

Absolutely gorgeous boots but I can't get them as my calf is too wide (OK OK I did eat all the pies) Remember to order the right size as UK sizing is different, I am a UK 5 but US 7 so make sure you check the sizing charts.

Friend has just got some Ariat Bromonts and they are to die for, she says she could live in them all day long!!

they feel like normal size when you first get them, but get a bit looser with use. i quite like that "slippers" feeling, just tightened the leg lacing to keep them snug.
they are wonderful, made my life bearable last winter, first time ever i haven't had freezing feet every time i'm out on the yard. i've carried on wearing them all summer, even though i thought i wouldn't. love mine, will get another pair the moment this pair fall apart! (no sign of that yet though, they're very well made.)

I love mine. I wear them for around the yard and riding and walking my dogs and out shooting. They keep my feet so cosy in winter, but cool in summer. I'm normally a 6, but I have a 5.5 in these boots. And skinny legs so the lace sides are just perfect.

Echo the slipper comments & also toasty feet. I always get cold feet in winter & since getting these last autumn.... not a problem. Plus they've worn well & still look very smart ...... when given a bit of a clean

I have a pair in size 6 and they seem to be average sizing- they are sooo comfortable, I wear them for around the yard and riding too in winter and summer - they are just great.

The width is very adjustable because of the draw string and velcro.

Best pair of every day boots I've had.
