Any other HHO's with Crohn's Disease???

Hi,

I'm relatively new to HHO, my first post, as it says on the tine just wondering if there are any of you out there who also suffer from Crohn's disease? How do you cope with riding, mucking out, and lack of or unpleasant toilet facilities at yards?

And as an intro i have been riding since i was 5 had my own pony at 13 and then found boys (silly mistake lol) so had a break and shared a couple of horses the past 2 years and have just a few weeks ago bought my own again

i do, been diagnosed just over 5 years now. My crohn's is now so severe i can't ride or do anything really. I used to have a share horse and i ran myself into the ground trying to get to see him. One thing is i could NEVER be at a yard without a good toilet. I was at one with a lousy toilet and never again. I find so long as i take my time and rest when i need to, i could get everything done.

When i had my share horse, my disease actually eased up. My blood markers were sky high but my symptoms were dealable. I always carried wet wipes and i have often gone in a field, much easier than having an accident!
