My mare has far to much hair in inappropriate places, it's not just the boys! She is also very floofy but only a little bit feathery.

My friend and I often overheard our Rugby playing older brothers singing this! We picked up and happily sung the lyrics and got a very stern telling off from my Mum, we had no idea why, as the explanation of the term dicky di doe was totally beyond to us. We soon found out with a bit of surreptitious research with older friends.

I've often thought horses who grow spectacular tummy fuzz are playing the long game in getting out of work because it will need trimming to do their girth up but is so placed as it inevitably gets flicked with wet mud, so isn't easy for trimmers to get through....
