As above, I've been told it's similar to Aubiose but just hoping if it the same (both hemp) it's a bit cheaper and as absorbent?
Any recommendations for Hemcore?

Sadly I have found Aubiose a lot better. Not only because its uniform pale colour helps you to see the dirty bits, Hemcore is mottled and always looks a bit grubby IMO, but also Aubiose seems a lot more absorbant. I think it is more fully processed than Hemcore, with all the outer covering removed so the fluffy absorbant pulp is available more to soak up stuff.
So altho Hemcore is cheaper, and I wanted to like it cos its UK whereas Aubiose is French I think, ie more shipping miles, I concluded it was a false economy to buy Hemcore.
Instead I mix Aubiose with wood pellets which I find makes a nice bed and saves some money but I get the mega absorbancy of Aubiose in there.

I find it more absorbant than aubiose personally I don't like either of them as products I prefer straw to anything but we aren't allowed to bed on anything other than hemcore or similar products so there it is lol
