I am of the age and size that is really not at all comfortable in the low rise/hipster style joddys that seem to be the thing these days.

Please has anyone found a tried and tested pair of either jods or breeches, high waisted and not too thick material and just suitable for every day wear?

Not too expensive either would be nice!;)

I have Derby House breeches. They have lasted very well over constant use for a couple of years. I have the jeans ones and the cotton ones :)

i am also a senior and like the high waisted breeches. i like cavallo chagall and i got mine from ebay shop classic dressage marbella, my last pair(brand new) cost just under £52 including p & p and usual price is about £140 , depends on your size whether you get lucky....

I can recommend Cavallo Chagall. They have the deep waistband with the V back and the microfibre fabric is lovely and stretchy and wears really well. Keep an eye out for a bargain on Ebay or in the sales as they are quite expensive. I have bought them from a seller in Spain on Ebay and from Panache Equestrian in their sale.
