Had pretty much decided to stick to SJ when we go out and do dressage online for now, but might give it one more go - just looking for a dressage comp where people look where they're going and don't lose control in the warmup, and it's easyish to manage a couple of youngsters when you're on your own and have no-one to open gates/check times etc for you. I don't need to warm up for long as it's only Prelim we're doing, but have two youngsters I would just like a positive experience for. They have both been SJ a few times (mini heights lol just to get used to it) and were happy and calm, loving the whole thing. Just want that for the dressage, rather than going out and finding that my calm and sane little girl who will jump any filler, couldn't care less about fireworks, motorbikes or anything at all, is wide eyed and scared after having two horses both try to ride into us at the same time! Will take the idea from the other thread though and pop a red ribbon in their tails - they don't kick but the other people won't know that!

Pyatts Farm Livery near High Wycombe in Bucks. Have comps about once a month. Quite relaxed and friendly. I've hacked up there on my own and people have held my horse while I've gone to the loo and things like that. Have a look at the website for details.
