I'm wanting to change from my Dublin river boots to some short yard boots and half chaps. My friend has these and really likes them and I like the fact they have steel toecaps. Does anyone have them?

I have also come across these Mark Todd boots. Although cheaper they don't look as substantial and don't have reinforced toes but wondered if anyone recommended them?

I am wanting a thicker sole like the 2 I have linked as they will be for everyday wear (when I am back home in the summer) and although the Mark Todds don't have them, I would prefer steel/reinforced toes.

Open to any other recommendations! Not wanting to pay much more than about £80 but would consider for very good boots. Must be leather too.

Love my Woofwear Spectrums which can also be used for riding. Waterproof for spuds like me who often stand in deep puddles.

I had the mountain horse ones, I used to wear them all day in all weathers when I worked with horses and they were comfy and very hard wearing considering I didn't really look after them!

i use mountain horse rimfrost short boots, they are waterproof and very comfy..got mine on e bay for just under £30 including postage and packing
