As title.....trying to track down the stud that bred my childhood dog

Not an expert but did have some very good friends who used to breed and show Rough Collies, might be able to point you in the right direction.

Can't find her pedigree but she was a Barshavez (don't know if thats spelt right)....trying to trace breeder/history

Did you get her locally? If so try contacting the Midland Collie Club www.midlandcollie.co.uk. Even if the kennel is no longer around it is quite likely someone will remember them. Good luck.

I have two beautiful rough collies, tri-colour dog and sable & white bitch - fantastic dogs.

Try www.collienet.com. They have a list of breeders, but yours isn't there, but they may be able to trace your dogs breeder.

Would the Kennel Club be able to help?

I'll check with my dogs' breeders to see if they know anything.
