Any sheep farmers out there?

Hi

I am currently preparing for an interview for uni to study vet med.

I am trying to collate all my work experience notes but cant seem to find what we vaccinated and wormed the sheep for.

I would be very grateful if anyone could tell me what they worm and vaccinate for and what they use?

We use Footvac (http://www.molevalleyfarmers.com/mvf/store/products/footvax#description) to help prevent footrot, Heptavac P Plus (http://www.molevalleyfarmers.com/mv...=CD271A50DC3C2233DF79306B76AE7DDC#description), we worm with Ivomec (http://www.molevalleyfarmers.com/mv...ic-injection-for-cattle-and-sheep#description), in the summer we use Clik (http://www.molevalleyfarmers.com/mvf/store/products/novartis-clik-pour-on#description) for fly prevention.

For me, I only have the two, so I used Verm-x sheep and goat wormer. It's in pellet form so I don't have to buy a worming gun!

In addition to jrp204's list we also worm for fluke using (http://www.molevalleyfarmers.com/mvf/store/products/combinex-sheep-promo-pack-122l) as well as vaccinating lambs going into a couple of fields that seem to be prone to coccidial infections (http://www.molevalleyfarmers.com/mvf/store/products/vecoxan). We tend to use a variety of wormers (colours vary from clear, white, yellow or orange) to avoid resistence. Good luck
