Any sycamore problems this year?

Our tree is in a neighbouring property and the year before last was the first time I noticed them. I haven't seen any this year which is a huge relief as it might mean the year when there was loads wasn't the norm. (I wasn't looking for them before).
 
Absolutely shed loads of flyers this year, but luckily winds last weekend blowing almost all of them away from my paddocks.
The 1 huge tree on boundary of one field of mine is dropping madly, but i havent anything in that paddock - and won't do till early spring
 
We had loads 2014/15 which killed my mare and then not a one 2015/16. This year there are loads of seeds, they're all over the yard but not so much in the field. I think it's helped that the field where the trees are hasn't been grazed for a month or so now so the grass has got long, I think this helps trap the seeds and stop them blowing to adjacent fields

So sorry you lost your mare. Nobody seems to know how many seeds it takes to kill be it a couple or several dozen.
