Any sycamore problems yet?

We have thousands of huge seeds - almost the size of my palm. We also have trees with huge clusters of small seeds. I'd say it was a bumper crop this year.
Not so many acorns - fortunately we have plenty of squirrels too.

We have no acorns on oaks this year, we have loads of oaks and not a single acorn. Phew! The seeds on my big sycamore seem to be dying on the tree and shrinking to nothing which is handy! The sampler sycamore has seeds on it but have checked today ( twice! ) and none are on the floor as yet ,I'm sure they will be, they too look pretty brown, dry and dead though not like last years lot. I check everyday and will always have them fence off.

I've just ordered this .http://www.coopersofstortford.co.uk/src/gbase/coopers-of-stortford-lawn-sweeper-prodst08286i/ I don't know how effective it will be, but will let you all know when it arrives! I was looking at leaf vacuums last year but struggled to find any that were cordless. The end of the field is a long way from any power outlets.
