In the title really, i've always admired people who's tack is really shiny. I think my tack looks clean but it never looks shiny, i'm guessing thats because it isnt brand new though.
Any tips to make it look better would be really helpful.
At the moment i clean it as normal, and i use that stubben cream stuff too for when we compete.
Thanks in advance all you lovely forum-ers!

When I want mine really shiny, I use boot polish on it. Providing you buff it really well with the brushes and cloths, you don't get any marks on your jods (I have never had any).

Plus I think it might protect the leather a little??

Makes it very shiny anyhow

Silicone Car Interior Spray, just spay a wee bit on a sponge and floss over your tack, will sparkle all day long.

I find Carr Day & Martin Leather Conditioner Spray really helps too.

I use a combined leather soap and conditioner. It makes the leather shine without making it feel slippery. It´s handmade in the UK. I am very happy about this product and I can´t think of using anything else to my everyday cleaning of my tack.

Grand prix leather gloss here too i have had my tub for 2 yrs and it cleans conditions and softens with the added bonus of a great shine and no marks on my white jods.
All you do is wipe over the tack with a little warm water then rub the gloss on with a small sponge ( 1/2 cheap washing up sponge)
I got mine from ebay less than a tenner. if you struggle getting it PM me and i will give you the address off the tub i have.

, I do the same as I had todo with my army cadet boots, just loads and loads and loads of boot polish and a little water and keep going until it shines. Boring and I feel the ideas above are far easier
