I will be doing my first affiliated dressage test next week and was just wondering whether anyone had any tips for this test as I have never ridden through it before...

It's my favourite prelim as it really flows and is nice and symmetrical.
Make sure you are accurate in your half circles and transitions on the centre line.
Ride accurately to the markers and use your corners!
Good luck let me know how it goes.

You'll be fine - i find its actually a pretty quick test and i was surprised when my Dad read the final line 'up centre line' - i thought id been in there not that long lol...

As Worried1 said, just aim to get your transistions correct over the centre lines and your 15m circles

thanks... I think I am more worried because it will be our first test done in a long arena, but there always had to be a first time

It's the distances I get confused about... I have hired out a long arena the weekend before (ooo, that means this weekend) just so I can ride through the test a few times before we go. Also so we can travel Grace after her dreadful trip on Sunday.
