Any tips? Keeping extentions on????

I connection with my other current post, just wondered if anyone has experience using the stick on hoof extensions and any tips for keeping them on? I've been warned they are a booger to keep on.

Gonna be difficult with all this rain we've been having and winter brewing around the corner. Do you recon keeping her in a small paddocks would help? Stop her galloping about too much.
