I have a grey, verging on white selle fancais x.. and live in an area with orange clay. He's clipped to his poll and a half face, turned out during the day and in a full neck rug. He still comes in most days with a very muddy face, especially cheeks, behind and up his wooly ears. I've tried a snuggy hoods type turnout, but he simply scratched until it slipped.
Brushing takes the mud off, but not the orange colour and he has very limited tolerance of me trying to shampoo and rinse around his ears! (not surprisingly)
Does anyone have any ideas on either keeping him cleaner, or a simply way to remove orange stains from tricky areas like ears without lots of water being involved?? Thanks
