Any tips on getting paw pads to heal?

My little crossbreed came in from the garden this morning with a nasty slice on one of her pads which was bleeding quite badly. We've bathed it, smothered it in savlon and bandaged it (she was a poppet bless her and didn't even try to pull away, let alone complain) and she's now on the sofa feeling sorry for herself, but being very good and leaving it alone. I'm 99% the bleeding has stopped as it's not soaked through the bandage, but obviously don't want to take it off yet, and I'm aware there's not much the vet could do in terms of stitching as it's her pad. Does anybody have any tips to help it heal please?

I don't like bandaging them but that's just me. I also never normally bother with the vet if it is just a slice or cut.

I used to dunk the paw in disinfectant and spread some Sudocrem or Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream.

However the last time my young dog sliced himself I was recommended spray plaster, which is brilliant, so I got that and spray disinfectant and it healed really quickly and there is no conflict, just a quick spray, rather than wrestling with the trying to apply creams etc.

Mine is a drama queen, but he got a couple of days of grass-only exercise and then back to normal, no fussing.

Thanks. I'm not normally one for bandaging either, but we couldn't get the blood to stop by just applying pressure. Will try the spray plaster maybe tomorrow when we take the bandage off, if we have take it off, as I don't think it'll last overnight when she knows we're not watching her! She's been the model patient so far, even holding her leg in a nice elevated position all by herself, resting it on a cushion!

Echo the spray plaster/skin, it's amazing stuff, have used it on the horses and the dogs, however not used it on a pad before, but certainly worth a try.
