My local nursing home used to save all the veg peelings and bruised fruit for merlin.... the one and only thing he ever left was celery.....

So not sure if its just him or not

Bananas..incl skin as cannot wait for it ti be peeled! Killarney( ISH) gets about 15ft tall when he sees a banana , he's so excited!
