Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had found a really good pair of warm winter boots that they can ride in as well as muck out etc. I have poor circulation in my feet so they're blue even with two pairs of thick socks on

Any suggestions?

Thank you muchly

They aren't long boots but I had the Mountain Horse Protective Rider boots for Christmas and they are fantastic, I too have poor circulation and today I had toasty warm feet (with a pair of normal socks and a pair of walking socks on). I wear leather half chaps with them to ride in and they are really supportive as the boots are quite tall and cover above the ankle... I love them

The MH protective boots are warm, but after about three months leak badly through the leather

. I REALLY looked after mine and was hugely disappointed with how quickly they leaked. They then split because they'd got wet inside.

The derby house thermal long boots are warm as toast but dont last long. Having said that, they are only 13.75 at min so cant expect much!!

Ariat Grasmere's or Bromonts.
Both are fab. The Grasmere's are better if you want to muck out, walk through mud etc in them.
Last year was the first year I had warm feet & in all this cold weather my feet have been toasty with just one pair of socks on

ariat grasmeres. my pair are now doing their 2nd winter and for the first time ever i do not have frozen feet. with just a normal pair of socks on i can do a 2hr walk hack and my feet are fine (whereas normally i would get back with my toes so cold they feel like little pebbles knocking agonizingly together). they're waterproof too, and an absolute godsend.

I have had: Mountain Horse Rimfrost riders for the last 2 years and i also have poor circulation in my feet. I truge through muddy fields and muck out in them, they're really warm, and i've never had cold feet in them! x
