Would anyone be able to give me a very rough approximation of the pronunciation of the following:

Plasderw
Tafarnaubach

I'm trying to name a Sec A filly ;)
 
Warning now- this post probably wont make sence!
For the Plasderw, the 'a' is pronounced the way kids say the alphabet, with an emphasis on it, so its like 'aaa' that kind of sound, but dont say it for that long ;) but it is held for a bit longer than other letters.Id leave a gap between the Plas and derw and say them as seperate words. On the 'r' roll it on your tounge slightly and the 'w' is said shortly, but that words not too bad to say just very hard to describe, so sort of Pl-aa-s-de-rr-w.
Tafarnau is one word too, and its said more Tav, then arn like arm with an n but rolling the r a little again, and the au is said like eye, so its Tav-arn-eye.
And bach, the ch is hard to say but its like the noise a cat makes haha :o like a 'CHHH' where you kind of gargle at the back of your throat, and the ba is just said how its wrote.
Thats probably not much help but there you go! :p

ETA- Did you mean prounouciation or translation? If translation then the above is correct.

Hmmm, written phonetically in English, I’d best describe the pronunciation like this ..

PlasDerw
Pl – arse – derr – roooo (!)

Tafarnaubach
Tav – arrr –nigh – baa –ccch (no idea how to write the letter “ch” phonetically in English sorry! It’s that guttural noise that everyone teases us Welsh folk for!!)
 
Pourtuguese pony- dont worry, I know what you mean , so hard o explain without sounding like you've lost it!
 
Thanks for your replies everyone! It was pronunciation I was after - I didn't realise they weren't proper nouns or I'd have asked for translation too!
