Anybody doing B&W Intro? If so, what section are you in?

I've just checked and i'm in section D, I know one other person in it!

Also, is anybody else going that has NOT been xc schooling yet? Because I have not been able to get out anywhere and am beginning to think that I must be mad

Having said that, although I didn't compete him last season, he did do Pre Novice and I'm only doing the Intro.

Can anyone tell me what the water is like there, because if there is going to be an issue, it'll more than likely be that. Thank you

I am! I'm in section A but my name isn't up yet as they made a mistake and lost my ballot sticker and waitlisted me originally, but I'm told I definitely have a slot now!!

Never been before so can't help with the water and I have done one lot of xc schooling - two weeks ago.

Pm me your name etc if you like and I'll try and come and say hello.
 
My sis is doin the PN and is section H, which is sunday. She has galloped once up our field and jumped a log!!! I'm goin straight to novice at Aldon and won't have done any xc schoolin, it'll be fine (well thats what i keep telling myself!!)
Think the water is just a pond kinda thing!!! sorry, not much help!!!
 
The water at B&W is a pond, was going to try and find you a pic, but I can't find them! In PN we jumped a log then a couple of strides to the water which you trot/canter straight into, straight out again and after a couple of strides there was a train jump which definitely had an Intro part to it. I'm not sure if there was an Intro fence before the water though.

It's not scary

Good luck and don't worry about not going XC schooling - just warm up for a bit longer

(edited to add - there are some pics on Eventingworldwide if you're a member - it doens't look as if they had a fence coming up to the water for the Intro in October and Intro definitely jumped the train's carriage a couple of strides out)

This is our boy doing PN last year. For Intro they just cantered in and then popped the little train on the other side of the one jumped here.

ill be there have friends in like all sections of the intro.... best mate is in section C tho ill b grooming for her and my other friend in the sat and sun extra section
