If you do a search on bit banks in the business finder section on HHO you may find some - I know the one near us definately advertises in H&H magazine - so also have a quick look in the classifieds at the back. Definately the way to go - I used The Bit Bank near me and it was great - got 2 weeks to try the bit before deciding if it was right so had plenty of time to everything I would normally do and also gave ned a chance to get used to it. Would definately use again if changing a bit.
well ive actually managed to find a mullen loose ring snaffle altho lil bigger than her one bout 1/4 inch so will giv that a go tomoz, altho slightly concerned that i may have no steering.
You can buy from shop4bits and have the bit on trial for 30 days, you pay £5 initially for the bit then if you want to keep it after the 30 days you settle the balance.
Would like to point out I've not actually tried the service myself as I ended up cancelling my order (a friend lent me the bit in the end), but thought it looked like a good idea.
