Anybody ordered from Old Mill Saddlery/WWW.saddlery.biz

I have! Had to wait just over a month for the bit i ordered to come into stock, but got it at a fab price so didnt mind the wait so much and then got let down by royal mail. The bit dissapeared in the post but i called them and explained what had happened and 2 days later a replacement turned up. Very helpful people and went out of their way to help when my original order went missing.
 
yep ordered off them but the item was out of stock and took 2 months to arrive

waited 2 weeks after ordering then emailed them and told that it was out of stock - which i didnt know when i ordered them...
bad customer service.


However I went to their shop to get saddle fitted and they were excellent, fitted me then the horse. would reccomend them for saddle fitting anytime!

My order is also out-of-stock - not a problem as they have notified me of this. But, I have sent them two (now three) emails asking for a reply to a question I have. Worried as I can't seem to get a reply from them. Perhaps they are just very busy at the moment.

Thanks for your comments. Seems that most items advertised are out of stock. Wonder if they hold any stock at all, but buy it in when required to cut costs.

Great website for looking things up on but have cancelled every order after weeks/months wait - think no stock and not much help via email etc - the actual shop is supposed to be good and yes saddle fitting is always highly recommended, they must just switch their internet shop on once a month ha!!
 
On a completely random note, when I signed up for Equestrian Lifestyle Magazine (which I love as lasts much longer than a H&H but not quite a basic and boring as something like "Horse"), you get a free personalised whip from Old Mill Saddlery.

It arrived really quickly (around 1 week) as I was very impressed - not bad for a £20 subscription!

Guessing I do look a bit geeky with a whip with my name on it, but hey ho!
 
hey i must say every time i have ordered from saddlery.biz i have always recieved excellent customer service... i have placed many orders with them over the past few years and have always recvieved the order within a few days....

They have such competitve prices and i have also heard the shop is amazing!

i couldn't recommend a better company to order with online....

yes i have just joined and was browsing through the posts and came across this one. I live in an area of Scotland where there isn't many saddleries so I do a lot of my horsey shopping online. Just found this site has been the best for me.

Seems little point in ordering something I may want right away then although ok if prepared to wait a few weeks.
