I have done on a razor sharp mare who was krazie. She liked it more than the bridle as could be funny in her mouth. I dont think I would tryand ride anything very strong in 1 tho.
You just attach normal reins. Have a practice somewhere safe first tho...
Thanks, I'm planning on using one of my Haflinger. She hasn't been bitted properly(just had one in her mouth) and TBH I don't see the point. She listens to my voice and when out walking in a headcollar she listens and responds to every little contact on the leadrope.
We used it on a horse that we wanted to start working before he got fit/well etc because he was a biiiiiiig horse with lots of issues in his mouth & head.
