Anybody used the new Molemec wormers?

They had a stand at Burghley, so i've ordered some. Just wondered if anybody else has used them, or if not - what do you think after having a read?

Yes used Molemec on 2 foals, I can report that it was effective... 1 of the foals definitely had worms (as expected).

Will be trying the tapeworm one out on the big ones now and the foals too as they will need re-doing in 5 weeks time.

According to my YO, it is basically the same as Eqvalan and Eqvalan plus, or so the representative at Burghley told her.
We have ordered some and it came the other day, but I haven't used it yet or read the ingredients.

Yep, we were told the same thing. Basically it's so cheap because they dont have to pay the patent fees that Eqvalan do. Or something like that! They've just copied the recipe!

just had a look at the data sheet and it's Ivermectin and Prazinquantel which is the same as eqvalan duo bloomin good price i think and see a trip to MV coming on

Contemplating getting it for the lads. Only hesitation is a recent experience of buying something that should have been as good as Frontline (spot-on flea stuff for the dogs); it had the same active ingredient and was cheaper, which is a consideration when one has four of them to do, but it did not work as well.
