Free to whoever can afford to shoe her... she's just lost ANOTHER ****ing shoe. I think we're up to 7 in about 8 weeks now... As always off perfectly cleanly, no marks/rips in overreach boots, and shoe nowhere to be found in the field. Have called a different farrier...

oops. good luck...

Will swap for an elderly TBX retired polo pony. Free to whoever can catch the damned thing cos I can't lol

Sympathy for lost shoe though - mine has just twisted a shoe (only a tiny bit so not dangerous) but now I can't catch her to have the farrier out to sort it. AAARGH!

yes please, I'll have her.

I think you are suffering from shoe gremlins you need to take and old shoe and bang them on the head (you might need to smoke them out)

Is it always the same foot!?

Ester would you like to come help smoke the gremlins out? I actually wondered today if somebody was going out and pulling the shoes off! She loses alternate front hooves perfectly... One week it's near fore, the next off fore, etc...

oofadoofa, what taking shoes off in the middle of the night?! Easily solved mine puts mine back on for free but not sure he would do it as often as fihunt requires.

Is she doing it in field fihunt or when you are riding?

Ps I will do anything if I get free supper afterwards. Am trying to avoid asda by getting myself invites elsewhere at the mo.

Does he have dinner plate feet? I found a shoe and an overreach boot in the field the other week.... none of them have lost a shoe resently and none have worn overreaches out in the field for 8 months at least....

haha...I'll swap your welsh cob for my broken one

Who were you having then that she keeps taking them off, I wouldn't be prepared to pay each time if you're loosing them that frequently, sound like the jobs not being done properly!
