I have a 4yr rescue staffy called Fudge :) He was well over his '7 days' at the pound when he got his rescue space in Glasgow last July just before we took him home with us :D

This is the first photo I saw of him from when he was still at the pound :(

 Yeah I've got 1....or 2....or 3...

Okay right now I have 3 staffies of my own, 2 staffy crosses of my own and 3 foster staffies (1 might be a cross...we're not sure he's very small and 'odd' looking!! lol!!). We currently have 7 staffies waiting for forever homes in the rescue I help run..so sadly the 'trend' of staffies isn't stopping just yet as we hoped. :(

So yeah guess you could say I'm well and truly owned by staffies!!! I do also have a lurcher, JRT, big scruffy crossbreed and a mutt!!! :D

He is such a sweetie! I have 3 staff crosses.. my babies!!! 1 male aged 6, and 2 females ages 2 and 9! wouldnt be without them! Hope you manage to find homes for the rescues Cobgirlie!!! I wish I could have them all!!

Its sad how many are out there looking for their forever homes :( I only have the space for one as we have my sisters (staffy) girl 3 or 4 days a week (possibly full term shortly due to sisters allergies) or I would have a million more x

Are yours all rescues as well?

My boy was found in the pound by Rochdale Dog Rescue and got a space at a rescue in Glasgow which is where we got him from a few weeks later :)

Oh yes each and everyone of mine are rescues, bought up by mum who ran a rescue so it's in the blood!! Lol!! One of my staffy crosses is an RDR boy too..many moons ago they got him from the pound and he came to me a foster..never left!! They are a wonderful organisation very underrated but do such good.

We've been lucky we do manage to find homes for most of the dogs, otherwise alot of other rescues help out and move them to other parts of the country. We've a very rural farming community so rehome terrriers, lurchers and Collies easily but find the staffies abit harder, not as bad as some places though.

Love his little grey muzzle...that's the one thing about staffies that gets me, they have such 'old man' faces!!! So cute!!

Yes... If you keep up to date with their site this little chap was called Compo/M2 :) Branded an old man by the pound but when my vet checked him over she put him at no more than 3 - 3 1/2! He walks really funny and has a tendancy to fall over objects but I love him very much he is such a little cuddle monster x

Lol!! He sounds exactly like my old man!!! He came to me as a 7 year old (grey muzzle etc) and they said he'll only have a couple of years cos he had been hit by a car so his hips were not working properly!! 5 years on and he runs around like a puppy, I had him on cartrophen injections for a year and his hips have healed perfectly!! He's slowed down a bit now so is getting on, prefers his sofa to walkies if it's raining but like your boy he's loves to cuddle!!! They really are the most loving dogs ever, I wasn't even a staffie fan..just ended up with them because of the rescue work but I'm so glad I have them, house isn't the same without them!!:D

i have a rescue staffy (sort of)
i was on my way to the field on morning and she got hit by a car! luckily (or unluckily) she had a collar on with address of owner, so i took her to vet as you could see her bone on her face as the car had hit her head on and tore a large piece of skin off her face :eek::eek:
the vet sorted her out stitched her up and treated her for shock and i took her to the owner... i got there and he opened the front door... the smell of wee and poo in the house made my throat burn! i reluctantly went to the car to get out the dag and explained what happened and he started shouting at me, asking YTF had i brought IT back ?? and said he had let her go because he didnt want her .... he had opened the door or whatever and then let her run off, so dumped! i asked him what he wanted to do with her and that i paid the vet bill and would like the money back as the dog was his responsibility regardless of weather he wanted her or not! he told me to kill her for all he cared and slamed the door in my face.
i knocked again and he hung out the window and said i should drown her and to F off and take the dog with me!

i took her home with the intention of taking her to the rescue centre the next day, but by the next morning and a night of looking after her and finding out she was a very loving (but not house trained) dog. and i couldnt send her to the rescue centre she was wonderful.
i went back to the mans house that day and asked if i could have her and her paper work, he through her lead at me and her kc papers and said if i wanted her i had to give him £200! i said no because he had not paid the vet bill so he agreed i could just take her.

i have had her now for 5 years, she is house trained and very well trained (after a while of mucky floors and chewing) she still has a scar on the side of her face but she is so much better (still doesnt like cars driving past her though) . she had a litter of puppies 3 weeks after she came home with me, which i found new loving homes for with good friends. and then she was spayed. she lived with our other staff till he died last year or cancer and now lives with my staff cross, american bull dog and a mastiff type but she is my favourite and i wouldnt swap her for the world

And I have 2 - again both rescues. My bitch is now rising 10 and showing no signs of slowing down, although we have just found out she has an under active thyroid gland (thought was my excuse) and a 4 year old red boy who is sulking upstairs as he legged it when I opened the back of the car tonight and was shouted at.

This is George. He is my brothers dog but moved in with me (and my mum who lives with us) when my brother moved to a house with no garden! Unfortunately he and my JRT dont get on but he is my mums number one guy! LOL

Here is my gorgeous boy Spike. He'll be 6 this year. He's an absolute legend - loves everyone and everything aside from the horse! He's not a rescue and have had since a pup. His breeder was hoping pups would turn out blue like their dad, but they all turned out brown and brindle. Spike is the only one which shows very slight blueness at certain times of the year.

YD, what an awful man, and so lucky she was found by you!!!

I have two beautiful Staffy babies - well, not babies anymore but they are to me.
They are brother and sister and were rescued along with their two other siblings two years ago.

I also have a 9 year old rescue staffy I am fostering.

HI. I have had 3 staffies. the first came with my ex partner, we had her for 7 years (my ex had her for 12 in total). My previous staffie came from Greek Animal Rescue. She has the hardest work I have ever dealt with but worth it, I adored her. We rescued our new baby before Christmas, she arrived on 27th Dec. She is amazing, getting jealous with me looking on here at other staffs hahaha. I will try and upload a pic of her at the kennels and a pic of her at home. She has come on leaps and bounds already but my OH is losing the plot with her "pulling" on the lead........she will get there given time I keep saying (I hope so)
