I know!!!

I was literally just checking Derek out again - I do so love that horse - when I noticed the sale!!! and thought WOW!!! I HAVE to share this!!

Waw..really tempted to e-mail about Treliver Devils Advocate - I'm looking for something to do some dressage and for OH to do some eventing but not sure about me being confident enough to introduce a young horse to hacking out and competitions again - done it once but our little man had a fab temperament - could always ask what his temperament is like though! He seems to move amazingly!

OOooo I think you should deffo get in-touch about him!! I went to see the stallions there about a year ago and I can guarantee that Gill is lovely. What's to be lost in contacting her?

They have some lovely youngstock, they all look amazing.
Certainly wouldn't mind having Feline or a foal from her she is stunning! I also like Devil's Advocate, if I had the time, space, money and experience/help to buy a youngster I would find it very hard to decide which one to buy!

They certainly are lovely horses and the stallion is a favourite of mine.
I like the palomino foal best, but it isn't advertised, it's got a huge bum and broad chest (I think it will go palomino from the pics).
It shows how british buyers don't appreciate nice horses when they have to offer them so cheap. It costs us around £2000 minimum to get a horse to two, especially when you add in worming, injections, ad lib haylage etc, plus keeping the dam.
We have had so much interest that Chocolate is going to stand at stud this year and is currently awaiting re-inspection by Weatherby's, he was reg and inspected by the british Database originally but I have had to pay £421 for a re=registering process. Despite them holding his dna and bloodtyping when they took over BD they refuse to acknowledge it as accurate.
He has to undergo a vetting all over again which at 16 isn't the same as at three.
It sounds as though the trelive stud is cutting down drastically, what a shame, but looking at things financially, I reckon I could make more money breeding Golden Retrievers than horses.

Devils advocate really is a superb horse isn't he. Pity, for me, he's not bigger and i have very little in the way of money to spare at the moment :-(

Sure Victory-definately go and have a look at Devils Advocate- he is out of the same dam to my old eventer!! Who was an absolute star with me in Juniors-he has done 4 CCI*'s now at home and abroad and with his new owner finished in the top 25 of 80 at Weston Park Junior Championships last year aged 16 ...he is an absolute XC machine and had the braveness and heart of a lion, never sick or sorry and has not missed a seasons eventing since he was a 5 year old.Just a dream junior horse.
I could go on about him forever, but will shut up now!!
