12 year old eventer, very fit (2 weeks after a CCI*).
Rode on the Wednesday eve and he was fine, thursday morning was hopping lame, had been stabled all night, rubber mats and Auboise.
Called vet, so lame he did not trot up, just walk. Nothing obvious to see but when gently flexed the fetlock was hardly weight bearing. So concluded it was that. Danilon (sp), rest and bandages and was sound on Sunday night when trotted up.
Again stabled between Sunday night and Monday morning when came out hopping lame. So back on Danilon and bandages, a good bit better today but still lameness visible in walk.
Have ordered a tub of Synequin.
Anyone got any suggestion what he's done or how?
