Anyone been fitted/sold a saddle from TC Feeds/Tack Haven?

Has anyone bought a saddle or had a saddle fitted from TC Feeds/Tack Haven in Bedfordshire?

Do they have a good range of reasonably priced/second hand saddles?

Are their saddle fitters good?

I have bought from them and they have great selection, not used their fitting service though so not sure about that

I've bought and traded saddles with them and they're great. I use my own saddle fitter though

I was hoping to go along and purchase a saddle from there, and then get my saddle fitter out to fit it, but worried that I might buy a saddle that can't be fitted to him!

Will they help me pick the right saddle? Should I take a wither tracing along or something?

My YO came with me as she wanted to buy/trade a saddle and they had a good selection if (as you're name suggests ) you're after one for a cob/traditional

Why not get one of their fitters out with a range of saddles? I recommended them to a girl at the yard with a little cob, she was happy with them.

They normally let you borrow saddles to try then you can get your own fitter if you like, that's what I did

Lets just say that a wide horse will not fit a medium saddle and it doesn't matter how much you fiddle with the flocking - the saddle will never be wide enough.

My loan horse had a saddle "fitted" and sold by them. Not impressed, it did not fit and was really unsuitable.

Used to be very good but have gone down hill in the fitting department......pm if you want more details.
