Anyone been on the A1M recently

Im off to Olympia in the morning, the traffic reports say bad delays from stotfold to the M25 can any one say how bad they are????

I didn't even attempt driving from Langford (in Beds) down to Hatfield to go home as I heard traffic was slow.

i'm from hatfield and the roads are very bad cars abandond and crashed every where

We are near the M1 J12 and we had to abandon the car and walk to the yard as the local roads were barely passable but when I walked over the M1 at J12 bridge it was moving so if you could get over to that on the new road (A421 I think it is) you should be ok coming that way.
