I've just realied that this venue is only 15 miles from me and they have loads of BD events on. Have been to find it but it was late in the evening and couldn't see much from te top of the drive, so just wondering what it is like.

Any expereinces etc most welcomed.

Thanks

I've been there a few times and its great. Nice helpful organisers, good surfaces - think they have 4 now. Parking is slightly limited. If going SJ the chap builds good courses and he also builds for BE i believe. Would recommend giving it a go.

Yes we've been a few times. They're really friendly and helpful people.
My mare doesn't like their long arena, the one next to the house as on one side they have industrial units next door - quite a way away I might add, but she's still adamant they're going to eat her, so won't settle in that arena.

Don't let that put you off though, she's just a bit of a drama queen! It's a really nice place and is well run.

Yes it is nice. I hadn't been for a couple of years and was amazed to see that there were 2 additional arenas and another one planned.

So there is a large one for show jumping, one for warm up and one for competitions.

The people are nice and friendly. There isn't a huge parking area, but it is adequate. The only thing you have to watch if you haven't been before is that it is not well sign posted off the main road (I suppose they don't want to advertise the livery yard to local thieves).

If coming from the Worcester direction is it too easy to sail past the drive and get to the Pinvin traffic lights, when you will have GONE TOO FAR.

I nearly had a lorry up my rear when I had to slow down suddenly and turn. There is a large hedge and trees along the drive, so no sign of stables, etc. from the main road.
