Anyone been to Patrick Pinkers recently ?

Just asking because I am having a mini crisis in my life (only with a small c) and my partner has offered to take me shopping there and we havent been for years.

Will it cheer me up ??

Went a week or so ago to buy feed. No idea whether it will cheer you up or not - what were you hoping to find there?!

A Christmas present for me from my mum. She phoned me up to say she managed to get all her shopping done and is really pleased with herself but could I get my own as she hasnt managed to get me anything.

Yes....but what sort of thing?! Some stuff they have great ranges of, others, not so much. For example I did not see a single beagler there, they don't sell wormers any more....

A nice Rugby Shirt or some sort of long sleeved top to wear riding and some new wellies for last september as my partner bought me two different cheap pairs and they both split!

Oh and I would like Drifty to have a pressy anything really nice for a big boy.

Not sure about wellies, though they have the usual field boots. Tops should be fine I think. Random items your horse neither needs nor wants in lurid plastic - rock on! Also good enough for rugs, more saddlecloths/numnahs than you could shake a stick at, excellent for leatherwork/bits.

they should have wellies, but if not, you're close to Thornbury and they have a Countrywide and they defo do

We recently went to stroud saddlery and they had no clothes (OH promised me a new coat) left and said they wouldnt restock until spring :-(

I wasn't looking at clothes specifically, but I don't remember that room looking particularly bare when I was there! Of course you could ring them before you make a special trip....
